The nonprofit Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary will celebrate Texas Recycles Day, sponsored by H-E-B, on November 18, 24 and 25. The 289-acre nature preserve features seasonal exhibits such as Dinosaurs Live! (through February 12, 2024) and the indoor museum.

The museum, founded in 1967 by Bessie Heard when she was 80 years old, depends on volunteers, admissions, memberships, donations and grants to fulfill its mission to bring nature and people together.
