Arts & Autos Returns to Downtown Denton

Classic cars and local art will take over the historic Downtown Denton Square when the 26th annual Arts & Autos Extravaganza returns from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., September 12.

The free, family-friendly festival brings together hundreds of vintage hot rods, restored classics, custom automobiles, trucks and motorcycles alongside art, music and activities celebrating Denton’s creative community.

Festival highlights include a classic car and truck show, with vehicles competing for custom trophies awarded by judges and community votes. Local North Texas musicians will perform throughout the day, while Chalk Fest will showcase live street art and sidewalk chalk competitions. Art car displays will add to the colorful mix.

Visitors can also browse a makers market featuring handmade goods and fine crafts, enjoy offerings from local food trucks and explore the shops and businesses surrounding the downtown square. Vehicle owners and artisans interested in participating can register online.
