Crazy Water Festival Celebrates Mineral Wells’ Wellness Heritage

Mineral Wells will celebrate its famous mineral-water heritage during the annual Crazy Water Festival, October 8 through 10. The three-day celebration combines wellness, history, outdoor activity, Texas music, local artisans and family entertainment in the city known as the Wellness Capital of Texas.

Festivities begin October 8 at Texas Frontier Trails Park with an outdoor concert featuring Texas country artist Wade Bowen and special guests Kolton Moore & the Clever Few. Activities continue October 9 with a Crazy Golf Tournament, Crazy Car Cruise and Crazy Dueling Pianos.

The main festival takes over downtown Mineral Wells October 10, beginning with the chip-timed Crazy Water 5K at 8:30 a.m. The day also features live regional music on two stages, more than 100 artisan, craft and food vendors, a classic car show, street art demonstrations and children’s activities.

The festival celebrates the mineral-rich waters that drew generations of visitors to Mineral Wells and helped shape the community’s distinctive wellness identity.
