The Denton Arts & Jazz Festival returns September 11 through 13 with a notable change for 2026: the longtime Denton tradition is moving to the North Texas Fairgrounds, offering 33 acres for three days of music, art, food and family fun.
The free festival, one of North Texas’ signature arts events, will feature live performances across five outdoor stages, a juried art show, artists and makers, food vendors and other activities. Last year, the festival attracted more than 100,000 visitors from 103 Texas cities and 32 states, making it an easy destination-worthy weekend for arts and music lovers from across the Metroplex.
Festival hours are 3 to 11 p.m., September 11; 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., September 12; and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., September 13.
Location: North Texas Fairgrounds, 2217 N. Carroll Blvd., Denton. The fairgrounds offer accessible facilities for guests with disabilities.
