The annual Hotcake Hustle returns Saturday, January 10, 2026, with morning start times at Oak Point Nature Preserve in Plano. This family-friendly community race features a 10K, 5K, 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk and a Virtual Run, welcoming participants of all ages and fitness levels.

Participants enjoy scenic trail routes followed by a festive post-race pancake party, featuring hotcakes, coffee, hot chocolate and other refreshments, including a gluten-free option. All registered runners receive a custom long-sleeve race shirt, finisher medal and race bib, making this a meaningful and motivating way to start the year.

Hosted by Run Project, the Hotcake Hustle supports local nonprofit beneficiaries, with proceeds helping fund community-based initiatives that promote health, connection and positive social impact across North Texas. The event is made possible through the support of local and regional sponsors, whose involvement helps keep the race accessible while strengthening ties between wellness-minded businesses and the community they serve.
