Runners and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to experience wide-open Texas landscapes at Run for the Range, a fundraising trail race benefiting the Texas Agricultural Land Trust. The event takes place January 31, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the scenic Fall Creek Ranch in Granbury.
Participants can choose a 5K, 10K or half marathon course that winds across 1,500 acres of prairies, rolling hills and creek crossings typically closed to the public. A Couch Conservationist option is also available for supporters who want to contribute from home.
Run for the Range celebrates the connection between land, water, wildlife and personal well-being, while raising funds to protect Texas’ working farms and ranches for generations to come. Post-race festivities include warm food, cold beer and live music, offering a relaxed finish in a memorable ranch setting.
Registration is $40. Fall Creek Ranch is located at 8220 Langdon Leake Ct., Granbury.
