Empty Bowls McKinney will celebrate its 15th anniversary April 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at TUPPS Brewery, bringing together art, food and community support to address local hunger.
The annual event raises funds and awareness for nonprofits working to combat food insecurity in McKinney. Guests can enjoy soups and tastings from local food purveyors while selecting a handcrafted bowl to take home, serving as a reminder of neighbors facing hunger.
The evening also highlights the contributions of local artisans, volunteers and restaurants that support the event each year. Organizers say Empty Bowls has grown into a meaningful community tradition, raising $85,000 in 2024 for hunger-relief efforts.
Proceeds benefit area organizations including Community Garden Kitchen, Community Lifeline Center and McKinney Little Free Pantry.
The event will be held at TUPPS Brewery, 402 E. Louisiana St., Building 2, McKinney.
