Wellness, at its core, is about connection—between body and mind, lifestyle and longevity, and the environments that sustain them. Increasingly, that connection is expanding to include the health of the planet itself.
“Not everybody may be engaged at the same level of planetary stewardship, but people are beginning to recognize that the health of our planet, our communities and our families are inseparable,” says Peter Simek, CEO of EarthX. “Clean air, clean water and thriving ecosystems aren’t abstract ideals—they are the foundation of human health and well-being.”
“The most powerful force for change is
connection. When people come together around a shared vision for a healthier
planet, the possibilities become extraordinary.”
— Peter Simek, CEO, EarthX
Founded to connect a global community committed to building a sustainable future, EarthX brings together voices across industries to explore practical, scalable solutions to environmental challenges. Rather than focusing on a single issue, the organization serves as a convening force—uniting scientists, entrepreneurs, policymakers, conservationists and advocates in collaborative dialogue.
That philosophy comes to life through the EarthX Congress of Conferences, returning to Dallas April 20–22 at the Hilton Anatole. The multi-day event provides a platform for global leaders and innovators to address some of today’s most pressing environmental issues while sharing forward-thinking solutions.
Unlike traditional conferences that focus narrowly on policy or science, EarthX spans a broad spectrum—from energy and conservation to agriculture, finance, technology and education. Attendees gain exposure to diverse perspectives and cross-sector collaboration designed to spark new ideas and accelerate progress.
“The goal is to create conversations that wouldn’t normally happen,” Simek says. “When innovators, academics, business leaders and environmental advocates share ideas, new solutions begin to emerge.”
This year’s gathering is expected to draw thousands of participants and feature a wide range of speakers, including environmental advocates, industry leaders and subject-matter experts across emerging fields such as sustainable energy, plastics innovation and marine science.
A key component of the event is the invitation-only E-Capital Summit, now in its tenth year. The summit convenes global investors, foundations, startups and policymakers to advance solutions that support both economic growth and environmental progress. By aligning capital, innovation and policy leadership, the summit reflects EarthX’s belief that meaningful progress happens when bold ideas are supported by collaboration and strategic investment.
While environmental challenges remain complex, EarthX leaders emphasize the power of shared responsibility and collective action—reminding communities that lasting change begins with connection and continues through collaboration.
EarthX is a global environmental organization headquartered in Dallas that connects people, ideas and resources to drive sustainable solutions for the planet. EarthX began in Dallas in 2010 as Earth Day Dallas.
