Spring is an ideal time for family outings, and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) offers convenient access to a variety of destinations for all ages.

The Dallas World Aquarium provides an immersive rainforest environment with exotic birds, plants and marine life, including a glass tunnel showcasing aquatic species. The attraction is walkable from West End Station on the Red, Blue, Green and Orange lines.

At the Dallas Zoo, families can enjoy giraffe feedings, a monorail ride and the children’s zoo, located steps from Dallas Zoo Station on the Red Line.

For a nature-focused experience, the Trinity River Audubon Center offers trails, a children’s discovery garden and educational exhibits within the Great Trinity Forest. Visitors can take the Green Line to Lake June Station and connect via GoLink service.

Additional DARTable destinations include the Perot Museum, Klyde Warren Park and the Interurban Railway Museum, making it easy to plan a full day of exploration without driving.
