Oak Cliff Earth Day Returns April 19 at Lake Cliff Park

Mar 31, 2026 08:54AM ● By Bernice Butler

The 17th Annual Oak Cliff Earth Day will take place April 19 from noon to 5 p.m. at Lake Cliff Park in Dallas, located at  300 E Colorado Blvd, Dallas.  This grassroots, family-friendly festival brings together eco-conscious businesses, environmental nonprofits and community members for a day focused on sustainable living and environmental awareness.

Founded in 2007 by local volunteers, the event continues to grow as a hub for education and engagement around air quality, clean water, food systems and overall quality of life. Attendees can enjoy live entertainment, food vendors and a wide range of green exhibitors.

Organizers are working toward becoming a zero-waste event and will introduce an Education Pavilion this year, offering practical guidance on recycling and responsible disposal of materials such as electronics, chemicals, batteries and Styrofoam.

For the third consecutive year, the Dallas Zoo will serve as Title Sponsor, alongside longtime supporter the Dallas Parks and Recreation Department. Vendor registration remains open, with free participation for schools and government agencies, and low-cost options for nonprofits and commercial vendors.
