St. Michael's Farmers Market Brings Local Food to North Dallas

Jun 30, 2026 08:40AM ● By Bernice Butler

One of North Texas' few nonprofit, producer-only, all-edible farmers markets, St. Michael's Farmers Market has become a destination for shoppers seeking fresh, locally produced food in the heart of North Dallas.

Held Saturdays at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, the market features farmers, ranchers, bakers and specialty food producers who grow, raise or make the products they sell. Unlike many farmers markets that include crafts and retail merchandise, St. Michael's remains focused exclusively on food, creating a true farm-to-table shopping experience.

Among the market's unique offerings are DoceHaven Patisserie, known for authentic Portuguese Pastel de Nata custard tarts, and Five Loaves Farm, whose handcrafted breads are made from organic grains sourced from an Oklahoma farm and milled by the family before baking.

Beyond shopping, the market provides an opportunity for residents to meet local food producers, learn where their food comes from and support a stronger regional food system. Its combination of carefully curated vendors, local sourcing and convenient North Dallas location continues to attract shoppers from throughout the Metroplex.
