The 36th annual Texas Blueberry Festival will return to historic downtown Nacogdoches on June 13, bringing thousands of visitors together for one of the state’s sweetest summer traditions. Recognized as the only state-sanctioned blueberry festival in Texas, the family-friendly event celebrates the East Texas blueberry harvest with live music, fresh blueberry offerings, arts and crafts vendors, children’s activities and community events throughout the day.
Festival highlights include the popular Running of the Blueberries race events, a classic car show, pie-eating contests, shopping and local food vendors featuring blueberry-inspired treats and beverages. Organizers say the annual festival attracts nearly 20,000 attendees to the oldest town in Texas each year while showcasing the region’s agricultural heritage and small-town charm.
Located in the heart of Texas Forest Country, Nacogdoches County is considered one of the leading blueberry-producing regions in the state.
